In 1976 he entered the prestigious Surikov Institute of Art in Moscow, from which he graduated with honors in 1982.<\/p>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=&#8221;&#8221; el_class=&#8221;xtd-spacer&#8221;][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221; el_class=&#8221;firasans&#8221;]\n<p align=\"justify\">He was invited to work for two publishing houses at once: the &#8220;Detskaya Literatura&#8221;, and the &#8220;Molodaya Gvardia&#8221;. At the same time he was attracted to oil painting. He traveled through Russian north and Siberia painting numerous landscapes. From 1983 he worked in the museum of Savvino-Storoshevsky Monastery in Zvenigorod where he studied Old Russian icons and mural paintings.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">From 1986 to 1987 Nefedkin worked on the reconstruction and restoration of the famous Danilov Monastery, the Residency of the All-Russia Patriarch, while studying iconography and monastery art under the tutelage of the master iconography Father Zenon. In many ways this has strongly influenced his inner vision and special attention to Light and Color.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">In 1987 he was admitted to the USSR Artists Union. In 1988-1992 he took post-graduate studies at the USSR Academy of Arts under tutelage of academicians O.Verensky and A. Gritsay.<\/p>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/4&#8243; offset=&#8221;vc_col-sm-offset-1&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;933&#8243; img_size=&#8221;large&#8221; alignment=&#8221;center&#8221; style=&#8221;xtd-shadow&#8211;small-normal&#8221;][vc_empty_space height=&#8221;&#8221; el_class=&#8221;xtd-spacer&#8221;][vc_column_text el_class=&#8221;smalltext&#8221;]\n<p align=\"left\">Works of the artist can be found in the museums of Savvino-Storoshevsky Monastery (Zvenigorod), in Spasso-Preobrashensky Monastery in Valaam, in many private collections in the Russia, USA, Great Britain, Germany, France, Spain, the Netherlands, Japan and Turkey.<\/p>\n<p>He is often jumping with a parachute, ike riding and to dance.<\/p>\n<p>The creativeness of Oleg Nefedkin is in constant search of new forms of expression, reflecting the traditions of Russian art, taking its roots in the old-Russian paintings, as well as the works of such great Russian masters as A.Rublev, G. Soroka, I.Levitan, I. Krimov and P. Kuznetsov.
